met up with jamie after work at our usual coffee place.upon reaching she propose another place instead - she wanted to go drinking.she kept justifying that because we havent drink together for a long time(we worked in the same pub last time)anyway, being the high I, i manage to convince her that damage done by drinking coffee is less than liquor. lol :Pwe chatted lots, and talked about the past - our pubbing lives.
haha those were the days.老了， 不行这样了。realised our last meetup was about 8 months ago,
when i first started work in current workplace.that is like damn long ago lah.work is taking up so much of my time ...我真是对不起我的朋友们!hopefully a little bit of worklife balance is possible ....thursday x 170909
twintwin is on leave today. life in office is so bored without her.
but GG 'entertained' me as usual, and I just know that I have to pen down these happenings to share them with my dear twintwin. cases as reflected below.
GG Case 1 : new hire’s designation is keyed wrongly in system – CRC became CRA.Me: can check and verify the designation, as finance needs information on that.GG: ehh why the designation is wrong? It should be CRC. *calls Elaine* I don’t understand why the designation is wrong, don’t remember seeing you key as CRA, could it be HRIS people make changes on that? Etc etc Me: but when Elaine/Dorcas key in system, the respective executives have to check and sign off the ecaa right?GG replied: I don’t remember seeing and signing off the ecaa leh. Even if I see before, cannot be wrong designation also.Me: ……………………………………………GG Case 2: confirmation letterCindy: can check with you, who is the staff’s supervisor coz I need to know who to cc the letter toGG: I didn’t hire this staff, not sure……but you can check employee database.Cindy: I’ve checked already, it says XXX. Just to confirm with you.GG: in the system reflects XXX, then its XXX lor.
really very G right?!
dunno is it the characteristic of those who sit at that place (minus dindin).
with GG around, there will always be such entertainment.

after work, kai and sze came to pick me up.
gave dindin a lift too, since we're going to town.
she need to admit her newly-acquired gadget to the hospital.
my two dear girls brought me to timbre @ the old school, located at mount sophia.

crowded with lots of youngsters, the atmosphere is quite good,
and i heart the live singing.
twintwin 'complained' about me being bias - went drinking with others
but not with her. i can justify:
(a) when i got into the car, i didnt know where they were bringing me to
(b) i only drank one glass of martini
but i thought of you when i was there, especially when they sang that song.
you know which song right... hiak hiak :P
