been neglecting this space for quite a while. thought i better re-start my blogging before i abandon this for good. the blog is set up for enz and myself to rant about happenings at work, hence yea, i have a good reason for blogging now.
work has been really overwhelming (our definition) and piling up like nobody's business.we have 4 new colleagues - 2 prove to be quite alright while the other 2 arent. i believe being new gives you some supporting reasons for the wierd things that you do and wierd questions that you ask. but that cant be your reason (or rather excuse) always.
both of us think that EGG is trying to drive us crazy:
- with her inefficiency
- with her ineffectiveness
- with her slow-like-tortoise speed
- with her stupid questions
- with her frequent munching
- with her standard reply : i got no time
- with her lousy attitude
but the worse of all which is driving us nuts is - boss actually unload her from alot of work and loads onto us. wth is this??!
obviously to them, EA is more precious than 2 Execs (1 SE included).
omg, we feel so valued...to the max.
in fact, the very ridiculous thing we've heard are:
- scholarship is part of recruitment so its rightful that you do
- application of EP is part of recruitment so its rightful that you do
- making copies of certs is part of recruitment so its rightful that you do
to which, i added:
- making payments to staff is part of recruitment so its rightful that we do
- booking of hotels is part of recruitment so its rightful that we do
- photocopying and opening of pfile is part of recruitment so its rightful that we do
- preparation of staff pass is part of recruitment so its rightful that we do
- keying of bucks is part of recruitment so its rightful that we do
i am just short of saying, being a HR person, which part of our job is not part of recruitment?! if everything Execs have to do, why need an EA?
ohh ya, the best joke of the century i heard is - EGG mumbles to herself, i think she is very stressed and on the verge of breaking down. seriously, wth lor, everyone talks to themselves somehow or rather, com'on talking to oneself = on the verge of breaking down. tell me some better excuse please.
twintwin and i seriously hope that we can and will leave on the dot.
we know that its frustrating and detrimental to our health if we need to do our work, and on top of that, do what an EA is supposed to do.
just because someone is incompetent, we have to be exploited and need to take up?
